County Information

Allegany County is the second westernmost county in Maryland, located between Pennsylvania and West Virginia with an approximate population of 73,700. This county contains a total of 22 schools. Of that number, there are four elementary schools that are designated as community schools. There are no middle or high school community schools in this county. ACPS offers two Judy Centers located at South Penn & George's Creek. The Free & Reduced Meals application can be found here

Anne Arundel County is located east of Baltimore City. It serves 128 schools and 83,044 students. Of that number, there are twelve elementary schools and one middle school that are designated as community schools. There are no high school community schools in this county. AACPS offers two Judy Centers located at Hilltop & Belle Grove. The county also offers a Summer Food program, which can be found here. The Free & Reduced Meals application can be found here. Baltimore City Public Schools is located in the city of Baltimore and serves a population of around 77,000 students. There are 93 elementary schools, 66 middle schools, and 28 high schools which are designated as community schools. Baltimore City offers 11 Judy Centers at the following locations: Arlington Elementary, Arundel Elementary, Commodore John Rogers, Curtis Bay, Dorothy I. Height, Eutaw-Marshburn Elementary, Harford Heights, John Runrah, Lakeland, Liberty Elementary, and Moravia Park. Additionally, this county offers school-based health centers at the Augusta Fells Savage Institute, Booker T. Washington Middle, City Springs, Collington Square, Digital Harbor High, Edgewood Elementary, Forest Park High, Harford Heights Elementary, Holabird Middle, KIPP Academy (Ujima Village and Harmony), Mergenthaler High, New Era Academy, Northwood Elementary, Patterson High, Paul Laurence Dunbar, Southwest Baltimore Charter, Tench Tilghman, Reach!, Vanguard Collegiate Middle, William Paca, and William S. Baltimore County serves a population of 111,000 students in 178 schools. Baltimore County encompasses a large area from the border of PA down to the Columbia and Middle River areas respectively. Of that number, there are 31 elementary schools, eight middle schools, and one high school which are designated as community schools. Additionally, this county offers school-based health centers at Deep Creek Middle, Dundalk Elementary, Hillcrest Elementary, Hawthorne Elementary, Riverview Elementary, and Woodlawn High. BCPS offers two Judy Centers located at Hawthorne Elementary & Campfield Early Learning Center. 

Caroline County is located on the eastern shore of Maryland and it serves around 5,500 students in 10 schools. Of this number, there are two community elementary schools. Caroline County also offers one Judy Center and a school-based health center at Federalsburg. The Free & Reduced Meals application can be found here

Cecil County is located on the northeastern corner of the state of Maryland and it serves 14,718 students in 29 schools. Of this number, there are three community elementary schools and one community middle school. There are no middle or high school community schools in this county. This county offers Judy Centers at the following locations: Bainbridge, Bay View, Thompson Estates, Cecil Manor, & Perryville. The Free & Reduced Meals application can be found here

Charles County is located in Southern Maryland and serves a population of around 26,000 students in 40 schools. Of that number, there are two elementary schools designated as a community school. There are no middle or high school community schools. Charles County offers one Judy Center located at the Dr. Samuel Mudd school. The Free & Reduced Meals application can be found here. Dorchester is a small county west of Salisbury that serves a student population of around 5,000 in 13 schools. Of that number, there are four elementary schools and one middle school which are designated as community schools. There are no high school community schools. DCPS offers one Judy Center and one school-based health center located at Mace's Lane Middle. The Free & Reduced Meals application can be found here.

Frederick County is located in Northwest Maryland and serves a population of around 43,000 students in 68 schools. Of that number, there are three elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school designated as community schools. Frederick County offers one Judy Center located at Waverley Elementary. Harford County is located in northeast Maryland and serves a population of about 40,000 students in 54 schools. Of this number, there are fourteen elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school which are designated as community schools. HCPS offers one Judy Center located at Magnolia Elementary. This county also offers school-based health centers at Swan Creek, Halls Cross Roads, and Magnolia Elementary. The application for Free & Reduced Meals can be found here. Kent County is located on the upper eastern shore of the Chesapeake Bay and serves around 20,000 students. There are two elementary schools designated as community schools in this county. There are no middle or high school community schools in KCPS. Kent County offers one Judy Center located at H.H. Garnet Elementary. Kent County's Community Food Pantry is located at Christ United Methodist Church and is open from 10 AM-12 PM every Tuesday and Thursday. For KCPS Free & Reduced Meals application, click here.

Montgomery County is located southwest of Baltimore City and serves around 160,000 students in 208 schools. Of that number, there are 19 elementary schools designated as community schools. There are no middle or high school community schools in MCPS. This county offers two Judy Centers located at Silver Spring & Gaithersburg Elementary. Additionally, MCPS offers school-based health centers at the following locations: Gaithersburg Elementary, Georgian Forest, Harmony Hills, Highland View, Broad Acres, Rolling Terrace, Summit Hall, Watkins Mills High, and Wheaton Woods. Prince George's County is located in southeast Maryland near Washington D.C. and serves 136,000 students in over 200 schools. Of that number, there are 80 elementary schools, 17 middle schools, and 13 high schools designated as community schools. Prince George's County offers three Judy Centers located at Carmody Hills, Cool Spring, and Hillcrest Heights. Additionally, school-based health centers can be found at Oxon High, Margaret Brent Regional, Hyattsville Elementary, Cool Spring, Bladensburg High, and Bradbury Heights. Massie Academy where they offer free groceries and fresh produce. 

Saint Mary's County is located at the confluence of the Potomac River, Patuxent River, and the Chesapeake Bay and serves a population of 18,000 students in 29 schools. Of that number, there are two elementary schools designated as a community school. There are no middle or high school community schools in this county, nor Judy Centers. Somerset County is located southwest of Salisbury, near the Chesapeake Bay, and serves a population of 26,000 students in nine schools. Of that number, there are four elementary schools, two middle schools, and one high school designated as community schools. Somerset County offers two Judy Centers located at Princess Anne & Crisfield. This county also offers a school-based health center located at Carter G. Woodson Elementary. Talbot County is located near Easton on Maryland's Eastern Shore. It has eight schools that serve a population of 4,524 students. Of this number, one elementary school is designated as a community school.

Washington County is located in Western Maryland, as part of the tri-state area that includes nearby Pennsylvania and West Virginia. It serves a population of 22,000 students in 42 schools. Of that number, there are six elementary schools designated as community schools. There are no middle or high school community schools in this county, nor Judy Centers. This county offers two school-based health centers at Western Heights Middle and South Hagerstown High. This county offers free summer meals, which can be found here. Wicomico County is located west of Salisbury near the Chesapeake Bay and serves a population of 14,000 students in 25 schools. Of that number, there are eight elementary schools and one middle school as community schools. WCPS County offers three Judy Centers located at Pemberton, Beaver Run, and the Wicomico Judy Center. This county offers a school-based health center at Wicomico High. WCPS also partners with the Maryland Food Bank to provide a food pantry at Wicomico High. Worcester County is located in Newark, MD, on the Eastern Shore. This county has fourteen schools that serve a population of 6,711 students. Of this number, one elementary, one middle, and one special school are designated as community schools.
