Outreach Educator – Part Time

Enthusiastic educators wanted for part time employment. Educators will present outreach programs to a variety of educational audiences throughout the Mid-Atlantic region. Must have a minimum of one year experience in presenting informal or formal education programs, as well as background knowledge of chemical, physical, and biological phenomena.
All positions require:
- Bachelors degree or A.A. preferred, or high school diploma with several years experience in informal education/performance/science instruction
- Valid MD driver’s license
- Good driving record
- Speak comfortably in front of an audience
- Work as a contributing member of a team
- Convey information on science related topics clearly to a novice in the subject
- Work well under pressure
- Interact appropriately with staff and management in museums and schools
- Ability to lift approximately 50 lbs
- All hired employees must provide proof of COVID vaccination including one booster dose
