Camp-In Instructor

Teach hands-on science workshops as part of a team to Camp-In participants. Camp-In is an overnight program for 1st-6th grade students in a scout or youth group. Lessons and materials are provided for all workshops. All shifts are five-hours, from 5:30-10:30 PM on either a Friday or Saturday evening, from January-late April. It also includes one day of training on January 21st. Applicants must be able to commit to at least 8 shifts during the season.

All positions require:

  • Maturity and flexibility
  • Good organizational and people skills
  • Experience teaching a group of children
  • Genuine interest in science content
  • Must have completed at least 2-3 years of college, teaching professionals preferred
  • Demonstrate good judgement, personal responsibility, and productive impact
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Attend training sessions as part of onboarding process
  • All hired employees must provide proof of COVID vaccination and one booster
